How it Started VS. How its going?
Space City Warriors was officially founded in 2023. Coach Rod started the program in 2020 during as a way to develop his at the time 5-year-old son, Lyon. Countless hours and days outside of the house practicing on the goal turned into a consistent program with over 20 plus youth athletes. With discipline, strength & conditioning and building community as a top priority, Coach Rod has been able to train and teach many young athletes with a bigger goal in mind, "Hard work pays off".
In 2025, Coach Rod and his wife Donna incorporated Space City Warriors with an even bigger vision in mind. We want to elevate and inspire your athlete to create disciplined habits on and off the court through the art and science of basketball, health & wellness, fine arts, and literacy.
