Donna Crump is an award-winning choreographer, artistic director, and performing artist from
New Orleans, Louisiana, renowned for her ability to captivate and connect with audiences. With
a BFA in dance (Tulane University) and over 30 years of experience in dance and performance,
Donna’s artistry has earned her widespread recognition. Her work has been showcased at
prestigious events and in notable publications, including Denver Startup Week 2022, Dance
Magazine’s Fall 2021 issue, and as the cover feature for Southwest Contemporary Volume 3:
Inhale/Exhale. She has also been highlighted in Texas Arts & Culture and supported
through grants from the City of Houston’s Mayor’s Office and the Houston Arts Alliance.
Donna’s performance credits include starring as the lead subject in Garrett Bradley’s critically
acclaimed Safe exhibit, which debuted at the renowned Lisson Gallery in London in Fall 2022.
Recently, she premiered works at The Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University in
collaboration with Hope Stone Dance and Hope Mohr & Mukherjee.
In addition to her artistic achievements, Donna is a dedicated mother to her two children, Lyon
and Lynnen and wife to Coach Rod. She currently serves as director of Education and Fine Arts for Space City Warriors, Inc. where she inspires the next generation of young athletes. She believes fine arts begins with a feeling, ends with an action, and lives in the soul. Let's create community and relationships
